- Mass adoption of the subscription model
Specific Workflows for iOS at Work - Doing research
- I have separate notes in craft for the following Any app I find
- When I find an app to cover, I drag and drop the link into craft
- Read it later
- I do my research for videos using safari, youtube, and Apple News
- videos are filmed on my dad’s XS and I want to eventually start using filmic pro + filmic remote for this
Editing - All footages goes into external drive for transferring/will be AirDropped Editing on
- LumaFusion using external monitor
- I use shortcuts to download free b-roll from YouTube or other platforms
Thumbnails - Take images in the camera app on XS
- Do image edits in Pixelmator Photo
- Use classic Pixelmator for photoshop edits
- I also use pixelmator for any channel related logos/video templates I need
- I export the videos using YouTube Studio on the web Wish mobile YT studio app was more robust
Specific Workflows for class - Zoom Calls
- This is one of the things I need a Mac for
- But when zooming I don’t do anything else on the Mac
- I use the iPad as the display for anything but the zoom call
- I zoom on iPad when I am not in school and I don’t need to record the audio I use split view here to have the other apps I need beside the zoom

Writing Essays - All writing is done in Pages
- I use safari and Notes/Notability for research
- I annotate the websites in notability/notes as PDF’s
- Using split view with those PDFs and in Pages simultaneously
- This is the same when using Keynote for presentations
Doing Homework - All homework goes into the reminders app
- When doing homework homework, I use focused work to keep me on task
- Will use the appropriate app for doing the homework
Handling PDFs - I use PDF Converter for any file I need to convert into PDF
- Notability is my pdf annotator
Taking Notes - It varies depending on the class and would take to one to write in
- Notes partially because I haven’t fully figured it out yet
General Workflows - Heavy user of multitasking and slide over
- I use an external monitor when possible for ergonomics
- Is paired with a dock and external keyboard + mouse iPad is commonly found in keyboard case
- I use Siri constantly to run voice shortcuts
